Support independent film in your community by becoming a member of the SSFI.

Just download the pdf application below, print it out, fill it in and mail it to us. If you have attended any of our film festival screenings, you know about that part of the Institute. But we're more than an annual film festival.

• Third Thursday, our monthly film screenings at Deja Brew, 101 W. Fourth St., Goosey Gander II, 102 W. Fourth, or Touchstone Theatre, 321 E. Fourth St.  Check "Community" link for most current information.
  
• Documentary Filmmaking Workshop - our annual workshop which precedes the Film Festival with filmmakers Mel Halbach and Clayton Farr, from FilmTreks in Salt Lake City, Utah
• Animation Workshop for Kids (ages 8-12) conducted by Pawel Partyka (Se-Ma-For Productions) - a five morning, hands-on workshop.
• Experiments with Reality Workshop conducted by Shanti Thakur - a four-day workshop
  
• Film Screenings - The SSFI collaborates with other arts-driven entities, throughout the year, to bring more independent (and classic) films to the public. We have worked with the Historic Bethlehem Partnership and ArtsLehigh, and with Musikfest and Donegal Square for a Celtic Film Festival.
• Seminars - We have worked with DeSales University to develop seminars and workshops.
