About the Director: Being the multi-faceted creative force behind “The Flyboys” is nothing unusual for filmmaker Rocco DeVilliers. As a student filmmaker, Rocco created the action-drama “Pure Race,” a story of two young adults–one black, the other white–who encounter a group of white supremacists when their car breaks down in rural Idaho. The film showcased DeVilliers’ talents as director, producer, co-writer, cinematographer, stunt coordinator/stuntman, and editor on the film. With a strong technical knowledge in post-production, DeVilliers edited The Flyboys and also supervised the post production and special effects.
