About the film:
Eleven-year-old Milena lives in France while older brother Jean-Luc lives and works in Los Angeles. Separated by language, divorced parents and two continents, their strained relationship is challenged during an afternoon together. Produced by middle school students in a summer film camp.

About the filmmaker: Lucas Foster directed Transatlantique the summer before 8th grade. It was produced at Harvard-Westlake's Summer Film camp in 2008. Lucas will be a sophomore next year.
