About the filmmaker: Jim began shooting and editing films in 2003. His films Meet Me Here and Class Of 2005 both won the Straight 8 film competition in 2004 and 2005 respectively, and were screened in the Kodak Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, the Soho Rushes Festival in London and at numerous other festivals around the world. His short film Charlie & Me won the BBC Broadcast Film Competition in 2005. His latest short film Can We Talk? (2009) has been selected for Sundance 2010 and won the Shooting People Film Of The Month in July 2009. Larry Charles, the director of Borat, Bruno and Curb Your Enthusiasm, described the film as: "Hysterically funny. Brilliant performances. Cuts so close to the bone that the laughs come at a price." Jim is writing his first feature film.
