About the Director: Neal Dhand is a writer, director, editor and professor, whose filmography includes Maze (2007), Soft Typewriter (2008), and Used (2008). In addition to these shorts, Dhand has written feature-length screenplays including the thrillers Sleeves and Sleep Shift, the science-fiction noir film The Lighthouse, the period black comedy Projected, and the drama Story of Isaac. He is currently penning three new screenplays titled Intersection, Watchmaker, and an untitled science-fiction black comedy. Heavily influenced by the films of Bertrand Tavernier, Claude Chabrol, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Luis Bunuel, and Michael Haneke among others, Dhand also appreciates music with good lyrics and has read Jorge Luis Borges' short story Death and the Compass at least a dozen times.
