About the Director: Round Town Girls is a collaborative effort by three New York City based filmmakers: Mary Bronstein is an actor/filmmaker whose award winning film Yeast appeared last year at Southside. She is in pre-production on her second feature and continues to terrorize people with Yeast through Hulu.com and iTunes. Ronald Bronstein has spent the last ten years working in dingy projection booths all over New York City. His award-winning debut feature, Frownland, has managed to antagonize audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Amy Seimetz is an actor and director who recently finished her feature, City on a Hill and is currently working on two new features-- one is a violent film about a female cult and another is a tender exploration of her relationship with her grandmother.
