He answered me, To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.' the prophet Zechariah Inspired by Zechariah's vision, New york artist Gene Schmidt set out with a supply of 30,000 red yardsticks to measure the width and length of Manhattan. The film follows Schmidt's year-long performance/sculpture/pilgrimage.
