Displaced in 1951 to make way for the Savannah River Plant and the creation of one of largest bombs known to mankind at that time.
Screening Times: Victory Firehouse Wednesday, 9:00 pm / Saturday, 5:00 pm [screens along with Vernaya (Faithful)] About the Director: Mark Albertin is the owner of Scrapbook Video Productions and works as a Multimedia Producer for Morris Visitor Publications, a division of Morris Communications Company of Augusta, Georgia. A graduate of the Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1985 (Associate in Applied Sciences), Albertin started his career in the Printing and Publishing Industry, working as a color specialist involved in detail-orientated color corrections and photo manipulation for national publications. In 2000, he started Scrapbook Video Productions; a video documentary company geared toward the recording of oral histories throughout the nation. During the period of 2000 – 2006 he produced six, feature-length documentaries about cities across the country, five of which aired on public television. His latest production, “Displaced – The Unexpected Fallout from the Cold War” was produced by his business Scrapbook Video Productions over a period of 4 years.
